1. Use lubricating oil with appropriate viscosity grade

For gasoline engines, API SM/CF/GF-4, SL/CF/CF-3 grades of pure gasoline engine oil should be selected according to the conditions of use; for diesel engines, API CI-4/SL, CH-4/ For SL-grade pure diesel engine oil, the selection standard shall not be lower than the requirements specified by the engine manufacturer.

2. Regularly replace the oil and filter element

Lubricants of any quality grade will change in their oil quality during use. After a certain mileage, the performance deteriorates, which will cause various problems to the engine. In order to avoid the occurrence of malfunctions, the oil should be changed regularly in combination with the conditions of use, and the amount of oil used should be moderate (usually the upper limit of the oil gauge is better). When the oil passes through the pores of the filter, the solid particles and viscous substances in the oil are accumulated in the filter. If the filter is blocked and the oil cannot pass through the filter element, it will burst the filter element or open the safety valve. Passing through the bypass valve will still bring the stolen goods back to the lubrication part, which will promote engine wear and increase internal pollution.

3. Clean the fuel system regularly

When the fuel is supplied to the combustion chamber through the fuel path, colloids and coke will inevitably form, which will be deposited in the fuel passage, fuel injectors and combustion chamber, which will interfere with the fuel flow, destroy the normal air-fuel ratio, and make the fuel Poor atomization causes performance problems such as engine surging, knocking, unstable idling, and poor acceleration. Regularly clean the fuel system to control the formation of carbon deposits, so that the engine can always be kept in the best condition.

4. Regularly replace the anti-corrosion anode

The hull, main engine, and transmission system are equipped with anti-corrosion anodes to protect the machine parts from corrosion by salt. The anti-corrosion anode must be checked regularly. If it is used in salt water, the inspection frequency should be increased.

5. Regular hull deck maintenance

Frequent cleaning and cleaning: the surface of the boat should be kept clean, and the deck should also be cleaned frequently. The surface contaminated by oil and other things can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners. Do not scrub with strong corrosive solvents, detergent powder or metal wire, so as not to leave scratches and affect the appearance. If the stain is difficult to remove, it can be cleaned with gasoline, kerosene, diesel, styrene, acetone, etc., but it must be rinsed with clean water immediately after washing to prevent intrusion into the structure. When cleaning, you can also use a tool spatula, but you should use bamboo or plastic chips with a hardness lower than that of FRP to avoid scratching the surface. Soft materials such as soft towels can be used for scrubbing.
